Increasing your bodies intake of water is the easiest way to detox. Your body is made up of between 60-75% of water and is essential for life, so it is only natural to use water as a detox. Fruits juices can be used as well because they have vitamins and nutrients your body requires.

The amount of water intake depends on each individual. Try drinking more water on a daily basis, this will help to eliminate waste and toxins in your body on a more regular basis.

Drinking tea is another way to detox your body. Tea contains antioxidants and helps eliminate free radicals that could harm your body such as causing cancer. There are many varieties of tea and can be enjoyed anytime. It can be consumed hot or cold and is a relaxing drink which at the same time helps detoxify your body.

Avoid foods that are high in sugars and fats as well as processed foods that contain additives and preservatives. Eat foods that are rich in fiber and nutrients. Brown rice is one such food that contains lots of vitamin B and helps the digestive system. Consume plenty of fruits, vegetables and whole grains which are all loaded with nutrients and are high in fiber as well.

It is not only what you eat, but what state of mind your in as well. Take a weekend vacation to clear your thoughts. Go to a spa or have a body massage to relieve stress. This will help you become relaxed and help with the rejuvenation and detoxification process.
